COBHAM MILL This small C19th Mill, which is situated on the banks of the River Mole in Cobham, is Surrey’s only surviving working watermill.
Having been abandoned and allowed to disintegrate for over six decades, the mill was beautifully restored during the early 1990s. Now, the milling of corn can once again be demonstrated to the public |
Visiting the Mill Normal Opening Times Second Sunday of the Month from April to October 2 pm – 5 pm. School and Group Visits School and other groups may visit the Mill by special arrangement throughout the year. Please Email your request to visits@cobhammill.org.uk. Alternatively, leave a message on 01932 867387 with the details of your group, your name and contact number, and we will get back to you. Parking and Toilet Facilities On-site parking and toilet facilities are not available at the Mill. However, there is usually ample public parking in Cobham, with restaurants nearby and an hotel. ADMISSION is FREE The Mill is operated and maintained by volunteers. The unavoidable costs of maintenance and repair are met by The Cobham Millers with the help and support of The Environment Agency and generous donations from the people of Cobham and visitors.
